Insight was started by two childhood friends who have worked in the care industry in some capacity, Alan Ware as a nursing home administrator and Justin Strawn as a social worker and Director of an ISL Agency. Together they have seen and provided quality care under the control “Corporate” entities, although they were both directors they were only able to provide care and manage the organization under someone else’s guidelines and together they felt they could provide care to clients and staff under their own rules, thus they started Insight!

Alan Ware has received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Gerontology from Missouri State University (formerly known as Southwest Missouri State University) and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Webster University. He has extensive experience in the long term care industry. Alan has operated several skilled nursing facilities and Assisted Living communities. He strives for excellence at all times and achieves goals he sets for himself, as an LTC administrator he received deficiency free surveys and quality awards for the care his building provided, as he truly cares about the wellbeing of others.

Alan has mastered the art of compassion and encouraging others to achieve their goals. He is passionate about helping those who want to live a successful life, thus as an ISL operator ensuring that not only his clients but also his staff are living a successful life is his driving force. He truly has a loving and caring heart.

Justin Strawn possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Park University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Webster University. Justin started his career in social work at the Jackson County Children’s Division protecting the safety and welfare of children. He later moved into the ISL industry where he worked as a QDDP and later Director of a couple of ISL agencies. During his time as a director his passion for providing quality care led him to want to start his own agency. Justin believes that all people regardless of their disability should experience the same love as his own children. As an agency owner/director he will ensure that any client or staff that enters the doors of Insight focuses only on their strengths and have a renewed since of strength to deal with the challenges of life!
